WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER THE SCREENING?
We highly recommend holding a Q&A with local survivor leaders, non-profits from your area or hire one of our Ambassadors or bring in our Film Director. When the lights go up at the end of the film your audience will want to connect, share, and feel seen so it's a great way to create the space to continue the conversation after the film. It's also a chance for you to promote your own work.
MEET OUR AMBASSADORS
Let the documentary educate your community on the problems we are facing in our country and plant the seeds to make a difference. Work with our Ambassadors from the film to grow those seeds into real change and develop solutions and prevention together.
"Remember the one. We may not be able to end sex trafficking around the world, but we all have the ability to change one person's world. Find one worthy cause, one person in need of help and start there."
- Rachel Thomas, Ambassador

WHAT IS THE BEST AGE GROUP FOR CALIFORNIA'S FORGOTTEN CHILDREN?
The best age group for California's Forgotten Children is anyone age 11 and up. The film follows six survivors of child sex trafficking and their path to freedom. Many of the victims were being trafficked and abused starting at the age of 7 - 12 years old while going to elementary school. It is important that we start speaking about this issue early on and prevent or interrupt it from happening. California's Forgotten Children is meant to inspire the next generation of leaders, identify victims and connect with services, and empower today’s trailblazers to end child trafficking.
