Melody C. Miller is a creative storyteller who works to make a positive impact in the world by making films. An advocate for women and children rights, Melody has dedicated from the start of her career to amplify the voices and stories of causes she cares about. She has created not only create empowering films, but creating a movement of change. Melody is a graduate from UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television concentrating in Cinematography and Documentary Production. She has won various film awards nationwide including the The Motion Picture Association of America Award, and Women in Film Award. Originally from the San Francisco/Bay Area, she spent the early years of her life learning the french culture then moved to Mediterainian for 4 years which started the roots of her filmmaking career. Melody is a competent leader and has experience working as a filmmaker with professional crews across the United States, China, and the United Kingdom. A member of the International Collective of Female Cinematographers, Women In Film, and the International Documentary Association. |
